Learning from the Master Teacher

Feb 12, 2009   //   by rich   //   messages series  //  Comments Off on Learning from the Master Teacher

His birth was heralded by angels.

His healings and miracles continue to amaze.

His death and resurrection made forgiveness possible.

But what did he have to say?

Throughout history, millions have found Jesus’ teachings to be revolutionary.  And today, we’re finding that the more we pay attention to Jesus, the better prepared we are to live the life he created us for. His teachings provide a solid foundation for life today.

Join us this Sunday, as we continue our study of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.  And we think you’ll find that Jesus was right when he said…

Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

(Matthew 7:24-25)

LO$T
On the hit TV series, the characters survived a plane crash only to find themselves stuck on a mysterious island, searching for clues as to where they are and how to get home.

In real life, many of us find ourselves in a similar situation with our finances. We’ve crashed and are looking for rescue. We’re stuck and aren’t sure how to get free. How do we get from where we are to where we want to be? How do we get financially free?

For the month of November, we’re discovering clues in the ancient wisdom of Scripture that are surprisingly relevant to our modern-day money problems. From avoiding and escaping from debt to the financial habits that set you free, we’re finding that God might actually be able to help…

Special transmission to those skeptical of church:

No one will be asking for your money. No offering plates will be passed. At all. This is not a fundraiser for the church. We just have some good news that will help you in your real life, and we'd like to share it with you.

End of transmission.
